Volkswagen is teaming up with Amazon to create an “industrial cloud”

. The companies revealed yesterday they are working to combine data from
machines, plants and systems from the car giant’s 122 facilities.
Eventually, it’s expected the system could integrate Volkswagen’s global
supply chain, which includes more than 1,500 supplies and 30,000 locations.
The move is part of the car maker’s plan to increase productivity worldwide
by 30% by 2025
